procrastination at it's finest

Ok, so I haven't written anything in a couple of days. Wednesday, I forgot I had a meeting in the afternoon. oh, the joys of being a union rep.

I also haven't worked on my sewing room at all this week. hopefully this weekend I'll get some time in there. I've just been trying to keep the rest of the house mostly clean and ignoring it. I hate that i'm such a procrastinator sometimes. I just have other stuff to do first... I also have to figure out some way to take off the closet doors. I made some beautiful pink curtains, and i need to get them up there soon. I think that'll make me want to be in there more.

Yesterday I ended up working until 16:45. Usually, I get off at 13:30. on Monday, when I went to Waterloo, My co-worker relieved me at 12:15. so 1 hour and 15 minutes early. this was in exchange for me covering for him yesterday. he had a dentist's appointment, at 14:00. so basically he owes me 2 hours. so on Monday, I get to leave at 11:30, which is UBER exiting!! I really do have the best co-worker ever.

So, Tim wants to get a Kitten. no, not just any kitten, a $700 kitten. I think he's undecided as to whether he wants a Bengal, or an Abyssinian. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE cats. I have a cat. she's wonderful. and i'm not opposed to getting another cat. I've known that Tim has wanted a kitten for a while. A little orange boy. I think it'd be good for Haze to have a little brother. just... why spend $700 on a cat? there are SO many kitties having kittens. beautiful kittens. I think Haze was one of those Many Many kittens. that, or she was abandoned. she was almost a year when I got her I think, and she was SO skinny... I just had to keep her. anyway, my point is there are so many kittens that are in need of a home, and are beautiful and fabulous. $700 is a lot of money. A lot of money to us, anyway. We need a new refrigerator. $700 could fix and feed a new cat AND my cat for a year. A YEAR!

New! and naps

So yesterday we went to Waterloo. The whole purpose of the trip was to go to this big game store called J&J cards. (the reason they're called J&J cards is because they opened up about 20 years ago, when sports cards were very popular) now they have everything- Games, puzzles, scenery (for miniature games) webkinz (which I don't really understand) but no living dead dolls. :( (lol like I need more anyway...) so I bought a slinky, which I've found is very calming to play with, a shiny new set of pink sparkly dice, and a 1000pc Lucille Ball puzzle, which is so far pretty frustrating, though I've got most of the edges together. I'm going to frame it or mount it or whatever people do with puzzles these days. lol. and I'm going to hang it in my sewing room, when my sewing room is completed.

so today I'm tired, but I'm determined to be productive. I'm going to clean and organize for a half hour in my sewing room, do 10 minutes of step aerobics, do my puzzle for a half hour, and clean for at least a half hour on the main floor of my house. Kitchen/ living room/ shoe area. Tim's having a friend over on Wednesday, and I don't want the house to look like a pig sty. an hour and 40 minutes of productiveness isn't bad, eh? though I think I'm going to do my puzzle and step aerobics before tim gets home and then have a nap. hopefully that'll cure my tiredness. I love naps. I always sleep so good. they're the best. I think if more people took naps, everyone would be a lot nicer.

So anyone who reads this post has to take a nap at some point today. At least for a half hour. feel free to read this post as many times as you want :)

happy napping, and blessed be.

My messy messy sewing room.

Yesterday, I ended up cleaning up my sewing room a bit. lol I know I said I was feeling 'creative', but I went in there, and went on a bit of a tossing binge. I want to re- arrange it, so I think I should de-clutter and organize a bit first. It's bad. Really. I'm a bit of a pack rat... lol

Today I feel very together. Last night I did everything I needed to do for work today, and I slept in until 5:10! (usually I get up at 5) even though I woke up a lot last night. We're going to Waterloo this afternoon, by 'we' I mean, Tim, his folks and I. we're going to leave here at about 1, and then we're going to end up eating dinner there and then come home. Tim wants to go to this J&J cards. They sell games and books and toys. I don't have a whole lot to spend, so hopefully there's nothing I like. lol I also want to make a side trip to a thrift store. I would LOVE to go ot Value village, becasue it's 1/2 price day on all used items. but, the closest VV is in Kitchener :(

Hopefully I'll do good today :)

thanks for reading,
BB

sunday morning

man, I love living dead dolls... they're the best. an expensive obsession though... at $32.95 plus tax a piece... minus my discount... lol it pays to live with someone who works at a comic book store. some of them I got at a very reduced price though. like some of them I bought at half price, or off friends, some of them were bought for me.. I have 40 in all... forty? like four- zero....Yikes... I need to get some new shelves. lol.

Today I feel.. Full. I made pancakes for breakfast today. not tasty Aunt Jemima pancakes though... Bulk store pancakes. see... the bulk store is near the meat store, so i figured- why not... well.. yeah. ick. I mixed up the batter, and it smelled like rotted milk... or at least milk that's been left out a while... it didn't taste too bad, but I'll be happy when i get another box of auntie's lol

I love cooking. almost every Sunday morning I cook breakfast. it's really the only time I can. monday-friday, I wake up at 5 to leave for work just before 6, Tim works Tuesday-Saturday, waking up between 7 and 9, depending on the day. but on Sunday, I'm home, and he doesn't leave for work till 11. so that gives me lots of time. I try to cook dinner most nights, but I like to cook breakfast, something about dealing with hot utensils while still groggy... lol

I'm also feeling very creative today (now that my pancakes have settled) I'm not sure what i'll do though. I have SO many projects that need finishing, and lots that also need starting... lol
I'll divulge what i ended up doing today, tomorrow. Talk to ya then!

Blessed be.
T.

crazy, crazy.

Today, I feel very... rushed. I feel like I have nothing done. Still need to do laundry, eat lunch.. (it's now 1pm) get ready for a home made chinese feast... I'm actually not cooking anything, I'm going to Tim's friend James' house. hopefully it'll go better than last year. the food was good, but I was a little concerned about the amount of pathogens that would be consumed. I didn't throw up, that's a good sign, right?
Today I finished a necklace for a friend of mine. Last week she seemed kind of off, so what cheers a girl up more than jewelery? lol hopefully it makes her feel a bit better.
I'm making a lot of changes in my life lately, and I wanted to list some of them to keep me on track.
~Changing myself on the inside, becoming a nicer, calmer person. especially with my Fiance, I'm a little high strung, and that's one thing I don't like about myself. I'm going to try to stay assertive, but not bitchy. He's the most important person in my life, and I believe he deserves to be treated better.
~ I'm trying to get healthier, this will help change the person on the inside, and on the outside. this change is only for myself. I have to love myself more on the inside and the outside, so that i can love others more.
~ I'm going to try to find my biological father. I do have a step dad, the last time i saw him was march 2008, and it was because my grandmother (his mom) was in the Hospital. he didn't try to contact me before or after that. I'm in the phone book. I'm trying to find my dad for various reasons. so i can see if i look like him, I'm the only light haired, light skinned person in my family, all the rest are italian/french/ native Canadian. Also to see if i have any other brothers or sisters. another reason is to see if there are any genetic diseases that i should watch out for. and Dammit, i need to know my heritage. my roots.

that's a couple things i'm trying to change in my life. I'm sure there's more, but i can't think of anymore right now. lol too much stuff to do today.
oh! I got some new dolls yesterday. 3. I'm addicted to them.

to all reading this, blessed be.

a long, long time

man, I haven't posted on here in forever. a lot of things have been going on in my life- things that I'd rather not talk about at the moment. on a 'Nice' note, today, I am officially common-law. Today I have been living in a conjucal relationship with my lovely significant other for 3 years. we've been together for 9 years, but today it's official. Yay!

Moving on :P

I've been doing a lot of soul searching lately, too. who am I? I haven't exactly found the answer to that yet, but I've figured out that I am me. A 24 year old female. An individual. A Canadian. A lover. A leader.
I've found lately that I like making people feel good asbout themselves. it makes me feel good. I work with people during the day. not the public, but in an office building. with about 200 other people. I'm the receptionist. I greet everyone as they come in, and i try to compliment as many of them as possible. genuine compliments though. something that I actually like.
Maybe I wish people would do it more to me.

I'm reading a book by Christopher Penczak called 'The inner temple of witchcraft" I'm reading it because I want to develop myself internally as a witch. i have always been interested in the craft and so, I am reading this book. there's certain 'lessons' or things you should achieve within this book. one of them is writing 3 pages in a journal every day. a blog is a journal, right? just kind of a public one :) so throughout the day (on most days) I'm going to try to write as much as I can.
