another day!

Today it is Friday. I work in an office, therefore Friday, EVERYONE is happy. Awesome :)
Also, today is goodie day. I've already had a banana chocolate chip muffin, a LOVELY concotion of spices and pita and oil, baked to perfection, which I believe is the Lebanese equivalent to Bruschetta, and a smile cookie from Tim Hortons. I really could go for another piece of that spices bread. mmmmm
I'm feeling pretty darned good today. Just in an easy going mood. Yesterday, a friend and I walked 5 Kilometres! 5! it didn't even seem like that long! awesome. I have to get my fat ass moving. AND I have to get her not- so fat ass moving. It'll be good for the both of us.
Saturday we're going dress shopping. that's tomorrow! yay! we're going out for breakfast, and then we're going to go look at Wigs, and then wedding dresses. not going to try any on though. just look. it's mostly for her wedding. mine's not for another 2 years, and i'm going to make most of my dress. I'm not sure about the top of it though. I have an idea of what I want from under the boobs down, I have no idea about straps, sleeves, anything. bleh. lol
I have a lot of stuff to do today. Work, (doing that right now, can't you tell? lol) clean, work on my puzzle more, (Lucille Ball's hair is a pain in my ass, but it's so pretty) ok, that's pretty much it, but I have a lot of cleaning to do...

sunday morning

man, I love living dead dolls... they're the best. an expensive obsession though... at $32.95 plus tax a piece... minus my discount... lol it pays to live with someone who works at a comic book store. some of them I got at a very reduced price though. like some of them I bought at half price, or off friends, some of them were bought for me.. I have 40 in all... forty? like four- zero....Yikes... I need to get some new shelves. lol.

Today I feel.. Full. I made pancakes for breakfast today. not tasty Aunt Jemima pancakes though... Bulk store pancakes. see... the bulk store is near the meat store, so i figured- why not... well.. yeah. ick. I mixed up the batter, and it smelled like rotted milk... or at least milk that's been left out a while... it didn't taste too bad, but I'll be happy when i get another box of auntie's lol

I love cooking. almost every Sunday morning I cook breakfast. it's really the only time I can. monday-friday, I wake up at 5 to leave for work just before 6, Tim works Tuesday-Saturday, waking up between 7 and 9, depending on the day. but on Sunday, I'm home, and he doesn't leave for work till 11. so that gives me lots of time. I try to cook dinner most nights, but I like to cook breakfast, something about dealing with hot utensils while still groggy... lol

I'm also feeling very creative today (now that my pancakes have settled) I'm not sure what i'll do though. I have SO many projects that need finishing, and lots that also need starting... lol
I'll divulge what i ended up doing today, tomorrow. Talk to ya then!

the weekend...

alright, it's Saturday... not going to cheat today. no chocolate, no cheezies... OK, a couple of cheezies. I had 7... but i marked them down on MFP... I'm on my 5th coffee... I might go to the store to get some chain to make some necklaces to put on Kijiji and Etsy. I do have some chain that i've rescued though. we'll see. that's about it for today. feeling a bit down on myself. I've heard writing out all the things you like helps.
