great...

so last night I didn't sleep so well. I kept waking up, looking at the clock, back to sleep. it was a pain in the ass. I kept getting the feeling I had slept in, too. Tim woke me up at about 3 to tell me he was sick. I went and got him another blanket. poor thing. hopefully he's not sick for the weekend.. Saturday is free comic book day and he'll be working all day. Sunday is my birthday. I'm actually getting a bit of a sore throat as I type this.. so I hope I'm not sick for the weekend, either. I'll do my best to stay hydrated and fed.

can i go home and sleep?

I don't really have anything more interesting to say than that.. I hurt my knee. I think I'm going to lay off it for a while. I'm still going to ride my bike though, that's pretty low-impact, I think.

Tim and I sat down last night and thought about people that we'd like to invite. altogether we have 145. though, i have a lot of relatives that live across the country, so it's unlikely that they'll show up. hopefully my mom and siblings will show up. LOL really that's all I care about.

it smells like tar in my office. I have a headache..and i'm hungry.

a sick joke

So seriously. Someone is playing a sick joke on me. Is it REALLY April? April? Really? damn. my fiance turned 27 last Friday, and I turn 25 3 sundays from now. wow. it's April.

In other scary shit

I'm getting married. Yes. Me. married. MARRIED. I'm a little freaked about it actually. Exited, yes. Happy, yes- but also freaked. I don't know why though. It's not like I don't already know that Tim and I are going to be together forever, it's been almost 10 years. 10. Ten. In 4 months. less than 4 months. but married? that's like... you know what? Fuck it. It's so infrequent that you hear that someone's actually happy in their relationship. there's nothing scary about getting married. Except the debt (cue lightbulb over head) AHA! that's what it is! the fact that everything goes up 300% every time you mention the "W" word- but we're having a halloween party... heh. In all seriousness, I love my future husband. He's a really great man. smart, funny, absolutely adorable. Really. I can't wait to really call him my HUSBAND!

I'm sorry I'm repeating a lot of stuff. really. It's just the way I speak, so it's the way I write, too. a lot of stuff is pretty unbelieveable to me, and I'm the one it's happening to!
So the date is fast-approaching! it's in October, 2011. I can't decide on the 8th or the 15th I've been saying the 8th, but I like the 15th, too. Gives us another week. LOL

We're also going to be doing a lot of the stuff ourselves, the centre pieces, the favours, the invitations I'm not too sure who we're going to get to cater though...Tim wants the little Mexican place that's basically beside the hall, but I'm not sure who I want. Mexican is good I guess. I've eaten there once, on halloween, and it was really good. I had a burrito. lol. nice people, too.

we're going to sit down tomight after dinner and decide some stuff. get more exact dates and numbers. tim asked his mom to do a guest list, and she still hasn't. ANNOYING!! but i'm sure I'll get in to more interesting fights with her along the way. lol

wow...this week has been the CRAZIEST WEEK EVER!! okay, maybe not ever, but I sure have been busy! Monday, I did all the stuff I said I was going to do, Yay me! PLUS I worked late...

Tuesday, I had to attend a disciplinary meeting.

Wednesday, I met with the Union president, and I must say, that I don't know if I like her very much. She seems to spend union money willy-nilly, and i'm not really a fan of that. Also just the way she talks about stuff I don't like.

Thursday, I had to go downtown, to get my engagement ring appraised, so it can be insured, because I lose things. lol. I'm also getting 2 of my rings sized. the promise ring that Tim bought me for my 16th birthday, and the ring I bought for myself when I stopped smoking. I'm exited to wear those again.

Today, I have 2 disciplinary meetings. after that, hopefully I get home in a timely manner... to clean up for D&D tonight.

so, No D&D tonight. only James showed up, so we watched TV and ate pizza till we were fat. now, I'm going to bed.

it's November?

wholy shit balls... it's November?!? like the 11th month... like 6 weeks before christmas... wholy shit where have I been? I seriously suck for not blogging in the last MONTH... it's been so crazy... I've seriously done NOTHING. like... nothing... I'm going to take some advice a friend gave me a little while ago- Make lists. like a list of things you want to accomplish that day/week/month. This is a great idea. why didn't I do it before? I want to start blogging more, my page was lonely for over a month!! so here's what I want to get done today:

Work.
blog.
clean for 45 minutes
figure out what's for dinner... pork chops maybe?
get corn syrup
put up christmas tree.
shower
maybe make rice krispie treats.

That's my list so far for today. and I'm half done 2 of those things. (Working and blogging of course. 45 minutes doesn't seem like a lot of cleaning, but it's better than nothing. it'll allow me to do 15 minutes in the kitchen, living room, and main bathroom. if I feel more ambitious after that I'll do more, but I think 45 minutes a day is a good goal. this weekend I didn't clean at all. lol. I cleared some stuff off of the counter, but that's it. useless!!
The corn syrup I need for the rice krispie treats. They're made with peanut butter and it's Tim's mom's recipe. we'll see how it goes... lol
yay! we got our christmas tree! freaking finally!! yesterday, I went to Walmart, and they're SO dis- organized there!! the thing i hate the most about ANY store is if you are an employee, and I as a customer, ask you about something, and you have no idea, PLEASE... for my sanity tell me that you have no idea!! there's nothing i hate worse than someone that pretends they know what they're talking about..anyway, after over an hour and a half of being there, and just about to give up and go home, I went back for one more look and there they were. NOT where they're supposed to be of course, but in the middle of the aisle on a skid. but i got one!! Woot!!

it's October??

it's October! that's insane!! ok, not really, but wow does time fly! Crud, I didn't check the interest rates for this month....
1.9% still. yay! our mortgage is almost at the value we bought the house at. lol still, down $4000 the first year is pretty awesome :)

Last week I ordered some jewelry from Bodycandy.com. 3 sets of plugs and a tongue ring. I can't wait!! they should come this week.

let's see... what else has happened since I wrote last... Someone got fired from work- no big deal, just a drama queen (King?) ...been walking with K. down to 190! woot! lol. yeah. other than that, nothing, really. BOOOORRRINNNGGGG..... lol
